May is right around the corner, which means Mother's Day is as well.  The day to honor all of the Domestic Engineers of the households.  Seriously.  How would we EVER survive without them?

Little kids, and especially preschoolers, can say some really hilarious things about everything in life.  So why not get some thoughts from their perspective down on paper for mom on Mother's Day?  My husband has done these with my kiddos for me in the past, and it sends me into hysterical belly laughs each time I read the questionnaires.

Click here for your free printable, give it to your husband, and have him complete it with your kids. Then act surprised - wink, wink.  You'll love it.

Super excited to give a friend this wall sign for her birthday this evening!  This one features text in a dark walnut finish with a white background, then distressed.  This sign measures 29.5 x 12 inches.

Back in the good ole' days when I received my First Holy Communion, we had no banners.  But, after receiving this "assignment" for my son's First Communion, I have to admit...I was a little bit excited:)

We received the white portion of felt, the doll rod, and some smaller colored pieces of felt from the school.  We were also told that our last name had to appear on the banner.  Thank goodness for Pinterest for some ideas, as I had no idea what these banners were all about.

We chose to feature a cross, a chalice and some grapes as the symbols of communion.  We also used our fabulous Cameo Silhouette to cut out the text that we adhered to the banner. Turned out to be a fun project!

Invitation | First Communion

In our digital world, there's something really special about receiving an actual paper invitation in the mail.  Who doesn't love to get mail?  Especially kids!  I am a huge fan of Evite and other on-line invitation websites and use them quite often, but I try to send out paper invitations whenever I can.

This was a clean design in neutral tones that I created for Carter's upcoming First Communion.  I simply printed it out on white card stock, and then mounted it to a 5x7 piece of cream colored card stock for a thicker finish.

Not enough time to create these yourself?  Drop me a note and let me give you a personal quote for your special occasion!
