Last January, a former co-worker of mine contacted me and asked if I could design her a cover for her booklet. That still didn't light a fire under me to do it for my own cards. What finally did? I was simply tired of picking them up every day. This year, my four year old daughter located the stack of 2013 cards that were "hidden" in a cabinet in our foyer. She loves looking through the photos and would happily toss the pile of 100+ cards all over our downstairs. "That's it. I'm making them into a booklet!" And so I did. I found some cute, scalloped chipboard covers and bought some book binder rings. I designed a cover using Photoshop and then printed, cut it out, and glued it on the cover. The hole-punching was the only time-consuming part...but even that only took about a half hour. So at the end of this season - do it! Take those gorgeous photos down and put them in a booklet. You'll love looking at them next year.
